Clare Caddick

Clare is an experienced freelance conductor, director, educator, workshop leader, flautist and singer.

Clare Caddick is an experienced musician and educator with a long-standing commitment to supporting musical learning and participation. Since 1998, she has directed the Emerald Music School, working with young musicians and helping them develop their skills and confidence.

As Vocal Leader for Lewisham Music, Clare contributes to large-scale choral projects at venues including the Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall, and Blackheath Halls. Her work also involves supporting teachers and schools across the borough, advising on music provision, and leading a team of vocal leaders and tutors.

Clare is active in community music through her leadership of the Live Voices choirs and her role as a trustee of SongEasel, which promotes singing in South London through performances, workshops, and educational initiatives.

Alongside her educational work, Clare has directed music for a range of musical theatre and opera productions with organisations such as Wimbledon Light Opera Society and Surrey Opera. She has also worked as a chorusmaster and guest conductor, and currently appears as guest conductor with the London Concert Chorus.

Clare’s breadth of experience and steady commitment to music-making continue to shape her work with singers of all ages and abilities.
